A VMFA-112 Cowboy taxiing in for some fuel. He headed to the Brownwood MOA and then back to Navy later that afternoon.  This is definitely their second home!

A increasingly common site at Alliance with another tanker doing some work with some Barksdale B-52's. Hopefully we will see some more of these units in this year.

F-35 Ferry Flight

F-35 AF-04 said Good Bye to Lockheed Ft. Worth today as she headed to Edwards  with a tanker and chase support. Overheard on the radio were some minor issues but aircraft and crew pressed forward and headed West to join the other three test birds at the AFFTC.

Sherpa at Alliance

I was out at Alliance a couple of weeks ago (the day before the Big Snow) and this Sherpa was sitting on the ramp. This is the first time I had seen one at Alliance and a really long time since I had seen one period. This aircraft was apparently having some sort of engine problems as the crew ran several tests with big puffs of smoke being seen.
